Mark's pictures are practically bursting with detail and fascinated me from the spot. But I couldn't decide which picture to choose for Imaginations. After I had tried it with several artworks I finally decided to gather some of them together for one big story of an epic battle in the desert.
I have tried to give the music the same power which radiates from Mark's artworks, at the same time playing around with my hammered dulcimer, my irish bouzouki and my e-guitar and it was a lot of fun to integrate them into this track, although it was a hell of work to get these different instruments into one fitting sound [...]. But it was worth the work as in my opinion the musical landscape is now as rich and exotic as the one in Mark's great artworks.
