This was one of the first pictures in this project. It fascinated me from the first moment on. It's so damn cute. Monsters and kids always work! I think, this moment, which might look scary on first sight, is in fact the beginning of a great friendship and it brings me right back to the fantasies of my own childhood.
The style of the song is very different from the others. Normally I like straight rythms and electronic elements in my songs, but this artwork needed something completely different. It was a new challenge for me, but at the end, is was a lot of fun to compose the song for this picture.
When I was writing this track, my grandpa died in hospital and I was often remembering the wonderful and adventurous days I had with him while composing. He was always a friend of fantastic and hair-raising stories, so I am pretty sure he would have loved this picture too. Thanks to Rose for this great piece of art.
