This is one of the latest pictures in this project. I had finished the other thirteen songs and was already mastering them, when I discovered this artwork. I simply had to take it into Imaginations and was very happy that ricochet gave me the permission to use this picture.
When it came to composing all the time I had this little rif from Carol of The Bells in my ears. I tried to fight against this, but then I realised that this was given to me by the atmosphere of the picture. I imagined that the little ghost girl gave a book with old children songs to the boy on the piano and that this was her favorite song to listen to. So, as this project is called Imaginations I thought it was good to give in to my own imaginations and integrated this as a reference. I am totally aware of the fact that many out there will scream in indignation that I killed Leontovych, but I'm very happy with this track. And [...] even if it might be a little bit scary I think there is also a lot of hope and love in this fantastic picture, so listen with a open heart.
